Call for Volunteers

WordCamp Jacksonville is coming up soon and we are looking for some awesome individuals willing to give just a few hours to help make this year’s event incredible! We have a range of needs and time frames and would love to add you to the team.

YES, YOU’LL STILL GET TO ENJOY THE CAMP

Your volunteer commitment will not take away from your time enjoying the fun and soaking in the great stuff the camp has to offer. Just a few hours are requested, and we have a wide range of volunteer opportunities to fit your experience and personality.

SIGN UP TO VOLUNTEER

We are only looking for two things in our volunteers: Reliability and Friendliness. Easy, right? Use the form on the Volunteer Page to let us know you are interested and our Volunteer Coordinator will get back in touch with you.

We want this WordCamp to be for the community, by the community. For this to happen, we need you. Please consider joining the Volunteer Team.

What’s With The Circus?

A big challenge of organizing WordCamp is coming up with the theme. It’s actually one of the first tasks and one the organizing group does not take lightly. A theme will influence all marketing, some swag, and the look of the Wapuu for the event. We have had some fun themes over the last 4 years (Bridges, Anchors Aweigh, Cows, and Vintage Jax) so what’s up with the circus?

Doesn’t a circus just sound like you’re going to have some fun? Actually, the idea (thank you Andrea) was submitted as Big Top Circus: Look under the WordPress big top and you will find designers, developers, marketers and salespeople all putting on a solid show. Celebrating 5 Years of the WordCamp Jacksonville Big Top.

Come join the rest of us WordPress clowns March 28th & 29th!

KidsCamp is Back

KidsCamp has been so successful over the past couple of Jacksonville WordCamps that it has spread to our WPJax monthly meetups. Don’t let your 7-14 year old miss out on all the fun! Usher in the next generation of WordPress builders at our annual KidsCamp!

Parents attending WordCamp can bring their junior website creators along and enjoy a day of parent-child learning under the direction of some of our WordPress experts! After the day is complete, your child will leave with their very own WordPress.com site up and running! Learn more about KidsCamp and get your tickets today.
