A big challenge of organizing WordCamp is coming up with the theme. It’s actually one of the first tasks and one the organizing group does not take lightly. A theme will influence all marketing, some swag, and the look of the Wapuu for the event. We have had some fun themes over the last 4 years (Bridges, Anchors Aweigh, Cows, and Vintage Jax) so what’s up with the circus?
Doesn’t a circus just sound like you’re going to have some fun? Actually, the idea (thank you Andrea) was submitted as Big Top Circus: Look under the WordPress big top and you will find designers, developers, marketers and salespeople all putting on a solid show. Celebrating 5 Years of the WordCamp Jacksonville Big Top.
Come join the rest of us WordPress clowns March 28th & 29th!
Think about all the education and camaraderie you get for $40. Not to mention the swag and lunch! Now think about all of that for $35. That’s right, use code EARLYBIRD today and get $5 off. We’ll even post your awesome picture on the attendee page! Don’t wait too long. The early bird discount will disappear in the New Year!
The Call for Speakers will end Monday, January 13th. That’s a mere 4 weeks away! Submit your topics if you haven’t already! For more information and to enter your submission, visit the link below.
