Will There Be Anything For Me To Eat?

Question MarkIf you are vegetarian, vegan, gluten-sensitive, or have any other food major food allergy, you probably ask yourself this question before registering for any conference.

At WordCamp Jacksonville we like to answer that question with a resounding,

“YES!”

Whether your dietary restrictions are by choice or necessity, we want you to enjoy camp and be well fed. But don’t take our word for it, here’s what previous campers have to say:

“[They] accommodated vegans, like myself, and others in our community with non-typical diets better than any WordCamp I’ve ever been to. They put a lot of effort into this effort and it made me feel so welcome at the camp. Also, those jackfruit burritos we’re so good!” – Josh Pollock, Lead Developer, Caldera Labs | WCJAX 2017

“The WordCamp Jacksonville crew made significant efforts to find snacks and food items that were not only edible, but weren’t the same old, tasteless, unreasonable standbys (i.e. gluten free = vegan salad). They investigated, cared and really tried to have options available and helped me feel included in our WordCamp community!” – Kat Roedell, Strategic Mentor, Ignite Business Planning Services | WCJAX 2016

So, what can you expect at WordCamp Jacksonville 2018?

Not an actual KidsCamp attendee.

Time is running out to register for KidsCamp. You’ll need to register this week if you want your kid to get “all the swag” as we will be placing our t-shirt order soon.

Sandy Edwards

We are excited to have Sandy Edwards from Data Driven Labs running our KidsCamp again. She has been teaching at KidsCamps since 2015, including over 100 kids at KidsCamp Miami.

KidsCamp is a special time for parents and their children to learn about technology together. Each child will learn about WordPress development, design, and user skills; and will walk away from KidsCamp with their very own WordPress.com website.

You must bring a computer for your child to work on.

Sign your child up for KidsCamp today!

We want to also give a special thank you to William Jackson, author of My Quest to Teach, for his support and encouragement surrounding WCJAX KidsCamp.
